Walla Walla WineTrail East

Although WineTrail East includes only a handful of wineries — College Cellars of Walla, K Vintners, Walla Walla Vintners, àMaurice, and Abeja — you’re going to want to leave enough room in the car for a couple of cases of wine. Their wines are that good. WineTrail East is just the right trek for a wine-touring day trip. During most of the year, the area east of Walla Walla, with its rolling hills of wheat and lush green vineyards, is picture perfect.

WineTrail tip: Be aware that to experience the Abeja winery, you need to book an overnight stay at its inn. Yes, we know that Abeja is a splurge, but last time I checked, we only live once, and you will never forget this beautiful place.
