The Tri-Cities WineTrail appeals to different preferences, from a focus on organic wines to tasting rooms with fine dining. Set in the heart of Columbia Valley, many of these establishments, like Preston Premium Wines, bottle estate wines. You can also sample 100% organic wine from Badger Mountain Winery. At Goose Ridge, the tasting room looks out on an immense 1,000-acre vineyard. Along the route, Barnard Griffin Winery is a must-see stop. Here your taste buds will experience first hand why Wine Press Northwest voted them "Winery of the Year for 2006." Your wallet will also appreciate the fact that you can purchase award-winning wines from the mid to high teens. During the summer, Bookwalters Winery hosts live music on Wednesday nights and the price tag won't set you back -- it's free.
