Rattlesnake Hills WineTrail South
In 2006, the Rattlesnake Hills region of Yakima Valley obtained the American Viticultural Area (AVA) designation. Winemakers with years of experience and newcomers alike banded together to obtain this prestigious federal label. With their newly won AVA title, it wasn't long before most wineries worked together to promote their produce and sponsor a variety of events. Beginning with Claar Cellars, situated along the I-82 exit near Zillah, to Horizon's Edge Winery, Eaton Hill Winery, Tefft Cellars, and Steppe Cellars traveling to the east, WineTrail enthusiasts will need to budget the better part of a day to experience these tasting rooms.
