Mid Umpqua Valley WineTrail

You could argue that this is the only Oregon WineTrail you need to visit. Why? Because of the tremendous variety of wines you can experience! Everything from cool climate pinots to hot weather merlot is for tasting in the Mid Umpqua Valley WineTrail. Plus, here’s your chance to swirl and sip unusual wine varieties. For example, check out Melrose’s baco noir or Reustle-Prayer Rock’s grüner veltliner. If awards were given out for red and white blend names, this WineTrail would take home the medals. How about these red blend names: Palotai’s Bull’s Blood, or Misty Oaks’ Gobbler’s Knob? There are also plenty of dessert-style ice wines to experience. In total, this WineTrail features two dozen wine varieties.

Need a place to stay or eat? Nearby Roseburg offers a variety of motels and quaint inns to meet various budgets and tastes. Plus, pack your walking shoes. Roseburg’s Stewart Park offers well maintained walking trails to get the heart pounding while you enjoy the beauty of the South Umpqua River.
