Benton County WineTrail
Go Beavs! Corvallis is home to Oregon State University, as well as to a dozen wineries that enjoy critical acclaim and plenty of awards. The Benton County WineTrail focuses on eight wineries that have regular tasting room hours. Although some wineries in the northwest part of Benton County (namely Cardwell Hill Cellars, Harris Bridge Vineyard, Spindrift Cellars, and Pheasant Court Winery) can be tackled by bicycle, you will need a car for this WineTrail. From Springhill Cellars in the north to Benton-Lane Winery (which straddles the Benton and Lane County border) in the south a car is a must. Budget two days for this WineTrail and plenty of time to explore Corvallis for food and university culture. Being a college town, there are plenty of brew pubs and coffee shops to experience, not to mention a stroll through the campus. Just be sure to leave the Duck T-shirt at home.
