Samish Island Winery
Samish Island Winery was established in 1997 on the south beach of Samish Island by Gary Lamb, owner/winemaker. The winery produces berry wines: Blackberry, Blueberry, Strawberry, and the Samish Island Blend (all three). A Silver Medal was awarded for the Samish Island Blend and a Bronze Medal for the Blueberry wine at Washington State Wine Competition 2002, held during the Central Washington State Fair. The winery sells wholesale only to retailers in Skagit County: W.D. Foods, Allen, WSLCB Burlington Liquor & Wine store, and the WSLCB Mt. Vernon Store. Samish Island Winery is not open to the public.
