Perennial Vintners
Mike Lempriere is this author’s hero and fans of Washington wines are indebted to Mike for his years of cultivating and maintaining the http://vintners.net/wawine/ web site. After researching and learning everything one could about making wine in Washington, Mike Lempriere started his own winery on Bainbridge Island using locally grown fruit including some of the cool weather grapes grown in his own vineyard. Perennial Vintners is part of the North Olympic Peninsula and Islands Region and is open to the public by appointment only. Hot tip: check out the 2006 release of his estate grown Melon de Bourgogne white wine.
