Apex Cellars

Apex Cellars is one of many wines produced by Precept Brands that splashed onto the scene in 2003 with a diverse portfolio of Washington-bred wine labels including Pavin & Riley, Washington Hills, Bloom, Avery Lane, Barrelstone, Big Sky, Grizz, Sweet Pea, Sol Duc, Sockeye, Pine & Post and Shimmer. Former Corus Brands CEO Andrew Browne founded precept Brands in 2003.

As their website states, “We are passionate about making great wine and brands that speak to the consumer. Apex Cellars offers to tasting rooms for visitors. Their Prosser-based tasting room is located at the Winemaker’s Loft in the Vintner’s Village. Here visitors can sample their way through a large portfolio of reds, whites and dessert wines. For Westsiders that don’t have the time to make it to Prosser, you can visit Apex and Alder Ridge in the Hollywood Schoolhouse District.
