WineTrails Gift Baskets on the Horizon

Coming in November, look for a new product on the WineTrails website. After months of work, we'll be launching wine related gift baskets…with a twist. These aren't your ordinary gift baskets with cheap wine, crumbled cookies and stale peanuts. No my fellow WineTrail Trekkers, these are baskets highlighting extraordinary Northwest wines, delectable gourmet treats and WineTrail guidebooks. Think pinot meets smoked sockeye salmon, savory crackers, tasty spreads, crunchy hazelnuts and chewy caramels with sea salt sprinkle. What's more, the basket itself will not be your flimsy toss-in-the-garbage basket. We opted for "re-usable" baskets that you will want to use for a picnic or use in a bathroom with rolled towels and smelly soaps packed in a la Martha Stewart.

Just getting the license from the State of Washington's Liquor Control Board was no small task. It took months! So having gone through that ordeal, I can assure you that we won't do anything halfway. No way José. Instead we'll offer a solution for those who seek a special gift to thank a client, a friend or loved one or perhaps someone who has contributed to your cause. People will oooo and ahhhh when they open their surprise shipment.
