2011 Sun Valley Wine Auction Gets Big Boost

Tacoma native Brett Carlson's "tin art" will grace this year's 2011 edition of the Sun Valley Wine Auction. Dubbed "Uncorked" this year's wine auction raises money to support the art community of Sun Valley, Idaho. Fortunately for the well healed guests attending this year's feast, they will have an opportunity to bid on Carlson's colorful tin adorned French oak barrel. With images of Sun Valley's Mount Baldy and Idaho's agriculture bounty pictured on the barrel, Carlson's work celebrates the outdoor lifestyle and rich heritage of the Wood River Valley.No doubt Carlson's imaginative work will fetch big bucks that the auction -- all for a great cause.
