URBAN enoteca: TERROIR - Meat & Grapes

URBAN enoteca, new destination wine tasting venue, restaurant and private event space in Seattle’s SoDo District, announces a quarterly food and wine event, TERRIOR: Meat & Grapes. This series is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to observe a highly-skilled artisan butcher in action, to taste grass-fed beef during each season of its life and to learn and discern how seasonal differences change the taste and texture of the beef.

Each event will begin with a meat cutting demonstration of an all grass-fed hind quarter of beef by artisan butcher Tracy Smaciarz, who will take Gleason Family grass fed beef from the rail to table in 25 minutes. URBAN enoteca Chef de Cuisine Chris Opsata and his team will prepare a three-course dinner featuring the freshly cut meat, expertly paired with wines from URBAN enoteca’s family of wineries.

Cost to attend is $165 per person, per dinner or $550 per person for the entire four-part series. Events begin at 6 p.m. and the 2011 schedule is as follows:
· Friday, January 28, 2011
· Friday, April 22, 2011
· Friday, July 22, 2011
· Friday, October 21, 2011

Starts on: July 22, 2011 @ 6:00 PM

Ends on: July 22, 2012
