PLUM HILL VINEYARDS TO RAISE FLAG ONCE FLOWN IN IRAQ IN SUPPORT OF US TROOPS
Gaston, ORLate last year, a Navy SEAL with family ties to Hillsboro, Oregon gave Plum Hill Vineyards an American flag once flown in Fallujah, Iraq. The flag came with certification that it was flown on April 25, 2008 at Camp Shane Patton. On, April 25, 2010, Plum Hill Vineyards will raise the flag to commemorate the anniversary and will fly it continuously “for the troops” as requested in the certification. To celebrate the event, Plum Hill Vineyards will be featuring a pig roast with all the trimmings as well as live music performed by local artists. Cost of the pig roast is $10 per person and includes wine tasting. Space is limited. While not confirmed at the time of this press release, Honor Guard participation in the flag raising is planned.
